Emma’s Afternoon Tea
After the success of Longleat’s very first Food and Drink Festival, I am extremely excited to announce that because my Afternoon Tea was such a hit, it’s now going to become a permanent fixture at Longleat! For years I have adored the pretty ritual of afternoon tea, and to be able to combine this with my passion for hosting is a dream come true.
The Orangery at Longleat is the most perfect setting for a traditionally British afternoon tea (even if I am a little biased), with its light and charming feel and beautiful views out to the rose gardens.
Expect a splendid selection of delicious sandwiches, homemade meringues and intricately crafted cakes, all made using the best locally sourced ingredients. So if this quintessentially British treat sounds like your cup of tea (excuse the pun), then please do come and visit for a lovely day out over the summer holidays. For the full menu, click here.
Also, I want to thank everyone who came along to the fabulous Food Festival in June. It was such a fun weekend and made for a superb way to celebrate the start of the summer. Over two delightful days we had inspiring live cooking demonstrations, with renowned chef James Martin and The Great British Bake Off’s Nadiya Hussain, demonstrating a variety of their favourite culinary dishes at The Longhouse. The food stalls were truly incredible too, with lots of amazing produce to tuck into and take home. A true foodies dream!
I am so proud to have been involved in such a fantastic event, and hope that is only the start of many food festivals for Longleat.
I extremely look forward to see what the future has in store, and hope to meet you all very soon at one of my Afternoon Teas. For more information on the Afternoon Tea, click here
