I have always loved Dolce and Gabanna, and was thrilled and honoured to be asked to be part of their incredible London show “Sun in a London Night” at Harrods, which took place on 2nd November.

It was an experience I will never forget!

Domenico and Stefano were wonderful – they fitted me for my show outfit – and were both charming and a pleasure to work with. Domenico chose a dazzling dress for me, with a floral headpiece and quintessentially Dolce jewellery – a gold necklace, earrings and bracelets.

The show itself was a dream. The whole of Harrods in-fact has been turned into an Italian extravaganza, which will be in place until 28th December, with moving wooden puppets of D&G themselves, thousands of sparkling coloured lights, an Italian market on the 5th floor, a spectacular Christmas tree, and much, much more. A feast for all the senses!

The famous Harrods Food Hall was turned into a booming runway. The atmosphere was incredible, and I heard one of my friends call ‘Emmum’ (a nickname John gave me, which has stuck!) at me as I walked past her whilst on the arm of Jack Guinness, and I couldn’t help but smile.

Everyone behind the scenes was so lovely to work with. Such an incredible team. It was pure joy from start to finish.

After the exhilaration of the show, we dashed to the After Party at Ours Restaurant. Delicious spaghetti was served and we danced the night away. A particular treat was Pixie Lott’s performance. The icing on the cake!

Please do go and see the incredible Christmas Takeover at Harrods. It is too beautiful to be missed. If you aren’t in the Christmas spirit yet, you certainly will be as soon as you set you enter the wonderful world of D&G. The exclusive London Collection is fab too – perfect for present season!

Thank you Domenico. Thank you Stefano. Dolce & Gabanna forever! ❤️
